Aster House is my villa in Sliema, Malta. It is a 1920s British Military family home that I lovingly restored over three years, and now sleeps up to 9 across three super king ensuite bedrooms. The villa is 150 metres (a 2 minute walk) from the Sliema seafront, on a quiet street that keeps you close to the action without putting you in the middle of it.
Why Sliema is the right base for your Malta stay
Sliema is where Maltese families spend their summer evenings, where the best gelaterias compete on the same stretch of promenade, and where the ferries cross to Valletta in about ten minutes. Aster House sits a 2 minute walk from the seafront and a short walk from cafés, restaurants and shops, on a street that is quiet at night and easy to find for taxis arriving from the airport.

What you can walk to from the villa
Sliema is small and walkable. From the front door you can be at the seafront in 2 minutes, at a good coffee in 3 minutes, at dinner at one of my favourite restaurants in 5 to 10 minutes, and at the Valletta ferry in about 15 minutes. Most guests don’t bother with a car for the whole trip.
What the villa is set up for
Aster House sleeps 9 in three super king ensuite bedrooms, with two flexible sofa beds. The rooftop chillout area has a 1930s outdoor tub for stargazing, and the dining terrace has a gas BBQ. Inside there is a media room with a 2 metre projector screen, a family-equipped kitchen, and original artwork painted by our resident artist Monica throughout. Designed for families and friends.
