How nightly pricing works
€229 is the everyday starting rate. The final price on the booking page adjusts for the season, the length of your stay, and your group size. Most families and friends booking a longer break end up with a per person, per night cost well below a comparable Sliema hotel room. Everything is shown clearly before you confirm, so there are no surprise fees once you reach the checkout.
Meet Susan, your host
I’m Susan, the founder of Espais Roca and the person behind Aster House. I spent three years lovingly restoring this 1920s British Military family home, working with local craftspeople to bring back the Maltese floor tiles, the bold Art-Deco lines, and the original artwork painted by our resident artist Monica. I designed every room myself, with families and friends in mind, because so many guests had told me they were fed up with sacrificing the luxuries they enjoyed as a couple once they started travelling as a family. We knew both were possible.
When you book Aster House you are staying in a Boutique Maison I personally curate, not a faceless rental. I answer messages myself, I know which Sliema restaurants are worth the walk, and I will make sure your stay is exactly what you needed it to be.
What to know before you book
A one-time cleaning fee is added to your booking total before you confirm, so the total on the booking page is the total you pay. A refundable security deposit is also held during your stay and returned in full when you check out without issue. On-street parking near the villa is currently free, though spaces depend on the day, and Sliema is walkable enough that most guests don’t bother with a car.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the nightly price the same all year?
No. Sliema’s spring, summer and school holiday weeks are higher, and January and February are the best value. The booking page always shows live rates for your dates.
Do you offer week-long discounts?
Yes. Stays of 7 nights or more, and 14 nights or more, both have built-in reductions that are applied automatically at checkout.
How do we pay for the stay?
Booking is direct through our reservation system. A deposit secures the booking and the balance is taken closer to your arrival date. Card payments are processed through Stripe, the world’s largest card processing platform.
Is a security deposit required?
Yes. A refundable security deposit is held during your stay and returned in full after check out, assuming no damage. The amount is shown clearly on the booking page before you confirm.
